Sophie Dyer

Tactical Research Advisor, Crisis Evidence Lab

Biography

Sophie works at the busy intersection of visual, participatory, and data-informed research.

In addition to the production of research, she draws on her background in design to think about how the lab communicates its more complex or sensitive findings, via digital formats that are engaging and accessible.

Beyond Amnesty International, Sophie is one-half of the citizen science project, open-weather. She sits on the editorial board of the Journal of Digital War.

Offline and outdoors, she can be found swimming in cold bodies of water.
